For a heavily soiled carpet in which dirt typically settles deep into the fibers, we need more than just water extraction for proper dirt removal. But cleaning deeply soiled carpet doesn’t have to be a difficult task. It just needs a consistent and effective approach. Firstly, the carpet may need aggressive vacuuming over a period of time to extract the deep embedded dirt. Once accomplished, a pre-spraying, an alkaline cleaner deep agitation and an encapsulated carpet cleaning is recommended. After that, a neutralizing cleaner is applied to kill any mould, mildew and bacteria. In the event that the carpet has been thoroughly cleaned and dried, an enzymatic carpet spray will be used to attack leftover residue to provide an additional defence against future mould and mildew problems.
